The Demco 11993 solenoid is designed for use with hydraulic surge brake actuators, preventing trailer brakes from engaging when reversing. This non-bypass style solenoid delivers reliable performance in a durable, time-tested design.

✅ Equivalent to Dexter/UFP part number 068-213-00

🔧 What It Does:

  • Activates when vehicle is shifted into reverse

  • Prevents hydraulic pressure from reaching trailer brakes

  • Keeps trailer brakes disengaged while backing up

📏 Specifications:

  • Thread: 1/8" NPT male, 3/8x24 Inverted Flare Female thread

  • Wire Leads: Two-wire system (non-polarized, one to vehicle reverse circuit, one grounded)

  • Mounts directly into the back of the master cylinder or adapter block
