The Genuine UFP/Dexter Breakaway Cable Clip (071-180-00) is designed for use on select UFP/Dexter actuators, preventing accidental brake activation if the breakaway cable is lightly pulled. This clip is a small but critical safety component in your trailer’s breakaway system.

Fits UFP/Dexter models: A-60, A-75, XR-84.
For 3/32"–1/8" diameter breakaway cables only.

🔧 What It Does:

• Prevents inadvertent pressurization of trailer brakes from light tugs on the breakaway cable

• Designed to break if the cable is pulled during an actual emergency

• Allows easy reset by pushing up on the tab located under the coupler (clip must be replaced after activation)
